Press Release: UDG Healthcare has announced the acquisition of Sellxpert, a German and Swiss contract sales outsourcing business, based in Speyer, Germany and Basel, Switzerland, respectively.
Sellxpert provides innovative sales and marketing services to national and international healthcare and pharmaceutical companies across Germany and Switzerland, complimenting Ashfield’s existing services in the DACH region.
The acquisition significantly strengthens Ashfield’s presence and capabilities in Germany the largest healthcare market in Europe, and will accelerate growth into the DACH region. The acquisition is subject to approval by the competition authorities.
Commenting on the announcement, Benjamin Rapp, Managing Director of Ashfield DACH said: “The acquisition of Sellxpert will strengthen Ashfield Commercial and Clinical’s presence and capabilities in Germany and place Ashfield in an excellent position in providing commercial and clinical CSO services in the DACH region. The acquisition of a 50% stake in Sellxpert Switzerland, will also provide us with a stronger presence in Switzerland with 30 employees.”
