Arc, the global events, data, and media platform backed by investment funds managed by EagleTree Capital, announced today it has acquired five rural sector events from Fortem International. These events will become part of Arc’s Agriconnect business (Farmers Guardian Ltd. and LAMMA Ltd.), adding additional depth and reach across the expansive UK agriculture sector.
Quartz Sequoia Events, organiser of Elevate, has announced the acquisition of Elite Sports and COPA from Prysm Group, extending its existing trade event portfolio within the sport, fitness and health sector. In May 2018 Elite Sports and COPA took place slightly earlier in the year, co-locating with Elevate in preparation for the acquisition. The shows reported an increase in visitors and a combined total of more than 8,000.
Organiser Prysm Group has acquired disability, rehabilitation, and homecare event, Naidex, from i2i Events for an undisclosed sum. “Naidex is, quite simply, exhibition royalty, and I can’t tell you how excited we all are to have acquired it,” said Nick Moss, MD of Prysm Group. “We are going to pour our hearts and souls into making the 43rd edition of Naidex a truly memorable event for the independent living sector, and the entire team can’t wait to get started.”
The show, which has grown over the past two years and attracts over 3,000 PAs and office managers, will co-locate with Confex and the Event Production Show next February at Olympia London.
