Press Release: Stockholm, Sweden: 17 May 2017: Readly, the digital magazine newsstand, today announced it has raised €13m in additional funding to drive the next stage of its development. The series B funding has been provided by funds managed by Zouk Capital and Hermes GPE as well as from existing shareholders. Channel 4’s Commercial Growth Fund and Aggregate Media Fund have also participated in the round. The company will use the funds to further its international expansion and support growth in its existing markets.

With the Readly app, Imagine magazines will be available on iOS and Android devices in 250 countries. The app, which has been described as “the Spotify or Netflix of reading”, offers unlimited content at a low fixed price. Imagine’s portfolio of magazines includes How It Works, All About History, iCreate, Digital Photographer, Photoshop Creative, Games™, History of War and World of Animals

Since launching in the UK on March 27th, Readly, the digital platform allowing subscribers access to numerous UK magazines for a single monthly subscription, has added a further 25 titles from 12 publishers
