The Guardian has reported that Arnaud de Puyfontaine, the UK chief executive of Cosmopolitan publisher Hearst Magazines, is to join French media conglomerate Vivendi.
De Puyfontaine, a former adviser to ex-French president Nicolas Sakozy, was hired torun the UK operation in 2009.
Vivendi said that de Puyfontaine, who also holds the title of executive vice-president of Hearst’s international operations, will join in early 2014.
