US-based information and analytics firm IHS has acquired Infonetics Research, which specializes in research for the global communications technology market. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Its intelligence services span 21 markets across the information and communications technology (ICT) space, including cybersecurity, core and transport networking, broadband, mobile, digital TV, data center, cloud and others.
