Sky and BT retain Premier League TV rights for record £5.14bn

skyPremier League clubs are celebrating another huge windfall after competition between BT and Sky drove the overall value of the live TV rights to more than £5.14bn over three seasons. The huge increase to more than £10m per game, sparked by competition between the two media giants for so called “quad play” customers.
