Healthcare data and intelligence firm Definitive Healthcare has acquired Billian’s HealthData, which provides data and analytics on US healthcare organizations, along with access to more than two million healthcare executives including one million physicians.
Billian collects data on hospitals and other healthcare facilities, physician groups, accountable care organizations (ACOs), and group purchasing organizations (GPOs), as well as physician contacts. Through the acquisition, Definitive Healthcare will integrate Billian’s data into its platform and intelligence on 187,000 physician groups and 1.4 million physicians. Users will be able to use the combined data to conduct provider analytics using population health data, uncover physician referral patterns, and analyze patient satisfaction scores.
