Key Publishing acquires Britain at War Magazine

Key Publishing Ltd, Europe’s leading publisher of aviation magazines, is delighted to announce the acquisition of Britain at War magazine from Green Arbor Publishing Ltd.

Commenting on the acquisition, Adrian Cox, Managing Director of Key Publishing Ltd said “We are very excited about the opportunities afforded by bringing Britain at War into the expanding Key portfolio. Whilst this title is in a sector new to Key, there is a natural fit and synergy with our extensive range of titles, particularly so with FlyPast and Military Machines International. We are looking forward to building on the strong foundations that this market leading magazine currently has by using the economies of scale that a larger organisation can bring to the party and are particularly pleased that Martin Mace, the founding editor of Britain at War magazine, will be continuing as Editor with the rest of his editorial team. This is yet another step in the development plans that we have for Key which will involve both launches and further acquisitions.”

Andrew Todd, Managing Director of Green Arbor Publishing, said “We have all been very happy with the growth of Britain at War since its launch but the time was right to sell. We are extremely reassured that it has found a great home at Key Publishing where we are confident that the magazine will thrive and reach its true potential.’’

The first issue to be produced by Key Publishing Ltd will be the October 2011 issue on sale on 30 September 2011.
