Newsquest Media Group yesterday announced the acquisition of the Forestry Journal and essentialARB publications. The business will form part of Newsquest’s Scottish magazine publishing division, extending its presence in the niche magazine sector.
Forestry Journal and essentialARB are leading magazines in the UK forestry, timber and arboriculture industry and will form part of Newsquest’s Scottish magazine portfolio including The Scottish Farmer, Country Lifestyle Scotland, Scottish Walks, Scottish Cycling, Scottish Gardener, Family Focus Scotland, Scottish Mountaineer and High Flyer.
Published monthly, Forestry Journal is a subscription-only magazine aimed at all those working across the spectrum of the forest industry. It has grown considerably since its launch in 1994 and is now considered the magazine of choice by those working in the industry, says Newsquest.
