Ocean Media Group’s fashion portfolio has cancelled two German shows to “place more of an international focus” on its UK editions.
The German editions of bridal trade shows Modatex and White Gallery – due to take place in May this year – were abandoned as the organiser said it felt Germany was no longer a viable destination for a truly international bridal show.
“Modatex was developing as a truly international show for the bridal industry, but unfortunately, the confusion of two shows in the German market has split the exhibitors, with many facing the expense of doing both events,” said Dave Moran, chief executive of UK-based Ocean Media.
