Springer sells Finlayson Media Communications (FMC)

Springer Science+Business Media (Springer) announced today that a successful agreement has been reached for the sale of its 100 percent stake in Finlayson Media Communications (FMC). The stake is being sold back to its founder, Ken Finlayson, who will continue the business independently.

FMC is the leading communications company operating in the UK dental sector. FMC produces a variety of market leading titles, conferences and events and also has a direct marketing division which works with dentistry’s leading companies. The company also runs the leading website for UK dental professionals. The titles, ranging from the biggest circulation magazine in the market, Dentistry, to the prestigious subscription-only journal Private Dentistry and major internet sites provide comprehensive coverage of UK dentists.
