Briefing Media acquires agricultural show LAMMA

LAMMA, the UK’s premier farm machinery, equipment and services event, has been acquired by Briefing Media, the parent company of Farmers Guardian.

The deal increases Briefing Media’s agriculture portfolio, and builds on the already successful relationship between LAMMA and Farmers Guardian. The publication has been the event’s media partner for a number of years.

Briefing Media’s directors believe the event, which continues to grow in popularity more than 30 years after it was founded, provides a fantastic experience for exhibitors and visitors alike, and are keen to build on its successful format.

LAMMA is the UK’s leading farm machinery, equipment and services show, with more than 750 exhibitors at its two day event in January 2012 at the Newark showground. It is regarded as a key business event for exhibitors and visitors, with attendance growing every year. The next LAMMA event is on 16-17 January 2013.
