Mark Allen Group to acquire Farmers Weekly

Reed Business Information Ltd (RBI), part of RELX, has agreed to sell the brand to MA Agriculture, a new company created by MAG to house Farmers Weekly. The portfolio includes magazine brand Farmers Weekly, community website and online trading platforms on FWi.com, a growing events portfolio including the Farmers Weekly Awards, newsletters and social media platforms supporting these publishing activities.

Mark Allen Group snaps up Miles Publishing

Press Release: In the fourth and final deal of 2017, Mark Allen Group (MAG) has acquired the shares of Miles Publishing Limited (MPL) from its owner, Miles Bossom.

MPL, which has been based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, comprises two core products; the market leading brand, Comms Business, and its related event, Channel Live. In future, the company will be based in MA Business’ offices in Dartford, Kent

MARK ALLEN GROUP ACQUIRES TES SEN SHOW FROM TES GLOBAL

MA Exhibitions Limited, the exhibition arm of the Mark Allen Group, has completed its acquisition of the UK’s largest special educational needs show, TES SEN Show, from TES Global Limited. Under the terms of the deal, TES Global has agreed to licence its name to MA Exhibitions for an undisclosed period.

George Warman Publications (GWP), part of the Mark Allen Group, has acquired Dental Showcase from the British Dentist Industry Association (BDIA) for an undisclosed sum. The country’s leading dental trade exhibition, which has existed since the 1930s, will join a company that includes the leading brands Dental Update, The Dentist and Dental Nursing.
